How long will my flooring last?

Hardwood can last decades with refinishing, tile can hold up for generations, vinyl often lasts 10 to 20 years, and carpet usually lasts 8 to 15 years. How long does a flooring project usually take?

Most projects can be completed in one to three days, depending on the size and complexity. Larger or more intricate jobs, like full home installations or patterned luxury vinyl luxury vinyl tile (LVT) (LVT) layouts, may take longer. We will provide a clear timeline before work begins so you know what to expect.

Installation

What should I do before installation day?

We recommend moving small items and breakables out of the work area before our team arrives. Larger furniture can be moved by us or arranged with you ahead of time. Clearing the space helps our installers work efficiently and keeps your belongings safe.

Will there be disruptions during installation?

We work hard to minimize disruptions to your home or business. You may notice some noise and dust during the process, but we take steps to keep the area clean and organized. In commercial spaces, we can work outside of business hours or in phases to avoid interfering with daily operations.

Do you handle clean-up after the job?

Yes. Once installation is complete, we remove debris, vacuum or sweep the area, and ensure your new floors are ready for use. We want you to enjoy the finished product without worrying about post-project mess.

Maintenance

How do I keep my floors looking new?

Routine cleaning is key. For hard surfaces like hardwood and luxury vinyl, and vinyl, sweep or vacuum regularly and mop with a product safe for that flooring type. For carpet, vacuum at least once a week and schedule professional deep cleaning every 12 to 18 months.

What should I do if my flooring gets damaged?

Contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the damage. In many cases, scratches, dents, or stains can be repaired without replacing the entire floor. For carpet, we can often patch damaged areas or restretch sections that have loosened.

Do your products come with warranties?

Yes. Most of our flooring products come with manufacturer warranties that cover defects in materials or workmanship. We also stand behind our installation work. We will explain the specific warranty terms for your flooring before purchase.
